You have the choice:

Participation as an active player or passively as a listener

German and French organ music of the 17th/18th centuries

Free choice of repertoire

 

Daily lessons and plenty of time for practice, conversations, and encounters.

Excursion to Ochsenhausen (Gabler 1728, 1755) and/or to Rot an der Rot (Holzhey 1793).

 

Participants’ and teachers’ concert

Program:

Thursday 2:00 pm Beginning

Friday and Saturday full-day lessons

Sunday church service, concert

 

Course language: German / English / French

 

Course fees: € 180 active / € 150 passive (single days € 60/€ 50)

Accommodation in monastery or hotel

Since 2004 a summer meeting point for organists from all over the world, young and old, professionals and beginners

Teachers and lecturers since 2004: Michael Belotti, Hermann-Josef Busch, Jürgen Essl, Johannes Hoyer, Gerhard Gnann, Johannes Mayr, Franz Raml, Gerhard Weinberger, Jean-Claude Zehnder, Léon Berben.

Participants over the past 14 years came from Germany, France, Great Britain, Japan, Korea, Mexico, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, South Africa, USA.


South German performance practice on special historical instruments, historical performance practice, baroque spatial and tonal splendor, study days, concerts, organ visits, international encounters.
